Claire Scafidi
Director of the Editorial
Claire Scafidi is a fourth-year studying international affairs, spanish, and Latin American and Caribbean studies with a minor in studio art. She is interested in democratic backsliding, immigration, and human security.

Uma Miskinyar
Director of Digital Media
Uma Miskinyar is a junior studying international affairs, Arabic, German, and GIS. She enjoys living abroad and learning languages, and she is passionate about technology and diplomacy.

Ansley Hovater
Director of Strategy and Administration
Ansley Hovater is a second-year studying Journalism and Russian on the pre-law track. Her interests include global food systems, and international and humanitarian law. Outside of LJS, Ansley is involved in her church, attends multiple running clubs, and enjoys working on local farms and orchards.

Bianca Orfila-Molinet
General Editorial Editor-in-Chief
Bianca Orfila-Molinet is excited to be LJS's General Editorial Editor-in-Chief this year. She is a third year studying Political Science and International Affairs with minors in International Human Rights & Security and Women's & Gender Studies. Her articles typically focus on human rights issues, especially global women's rights. Next year she will be joining the Security Leadership Program for the Fall 2026 cohort as well as participating in the GLOBIS Human Rights Lab in Spring 2027. She is thrilled to see what this year will bring for the editorial and look forward to working with this amazing team.

Emma Grace Jarvis

Emma Grace Jarvis is a fourth-year student studying Comparative Literature, Political Science, and International Affairs with a minor in Law, Jurisprudence, and the State. Emma Grace has served as Co-Executive Director of Arch Policy Institute, the on-campus, nonpartisan think tank, and as a Teaching Assistant for the Morehead Honors College. She is also a writer for the Undergraduate Law Review and the Undergraduate Moot Court. She is also a member of the GLOBIS Human Rights Research Lab. Policy areas Emma Grace is interested in include human rights law and women's security worldwide.
